Based in the United Kingdom, Citadel Promotions was founded in 2015, to promote a joint concert between the Household Troops Band of The Salvation Army and massed Brass Bands from the Corps of Army Music.

The event was to celebrate the 150th anniversary of The Salvation Army and held at the Royal Military School of Music, Kneller Hall.

For the first time since the  formation of Kneller Hall  in 1857, a Salvation Army Band joined with military musicians to celebrate the thousands of Salvationists who have served 'Under Two Flags'.

The 'Celebration of Service' concert was such a success Citadel Promotions was granted permission to arrange for Salvation Army Bands to play concerts on the Bandstand inside the grounds of Windsor Castle. 

Citadel Promotions then went on to help promote a Salvationist musician who wanted to create a recording that connected her two worlds. The music of the Salvation Army and the music she plays as a professional saxophonist. The album was such a success, a further ten albums have been released under the Citadel Promotions label.
